Roller press PP 500

The PP 500 roller press from Alexanderwerk is the ideal roller press for economical compaction and meets all requirements and standards. As one of Alexanderwerk's largest machines for the chemical industry, it achieves a throughput of up to 50,000 kg/h with a roller diameter of 500 mm. The PP 500 comes standard with the Alexanderwerk-patented Combi-Vent-Feeder®. This special design of the feed system ensures particularly economical operation of the plant, as the improved venting allows larger quantities of product to be fed into the roller gap. Due to the modular design and the double-sided bearing of the rollers, an extremely robust construction is guaranteed. This allows a maximum linear pressing force of 2,057 kN/cm to be achieved. Process parameters determined in the trial can be easily scaled up for production on the PP 500 roller press. The PP 500 allows for great flexibility and adaptation to a wide variety of granule sizes. Numerous special versions or customer-specific adaptations are available upon request.
