Raising the EBIT forecast for the 2023 financial year

At the Annual General Meeting on 6 July 2023, the Management Board of Alexanderwerk AG announced that EBIT of around EUR 7 million, calculated in accordance with IFRS principles, is expected for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.

Based on the findings from the ongoing preparation of the annual financial statements, the Management Board now assumes that the EBIT calculated in accordance with HGB principles for the financial year of Alexanderwerk AG ending on 31 December 2023 will probably be in the range of around EUR 9.5 to 10.5 million.

The EBIT calculated in accordance with HGB principles still requires consolidation in accordance with IFRS principles for Group accounting purposes and the EBIT calculated in accordance with IFRS principles may deviate from the EBIT calculated in accordance with HGB principles.

The Executive Board would like to point out that work on the annual financial statements is ongoing. The above EBIT figures calculated in accordance with HGB principles are provisional. The annual financial statements have not yet been prepared and have not yet been adopted. They have also not yet been certified by the auditors. Further work on the annual financial statements may lead to a change in the above EBIT figures.
