Roller Compactor WP 480 x 520 V
The compactor is a second hand machine, year of construction 1991.
It has been in continued operation for only one year, after this it was returned to Alexanderwerk and used only sporadically for trials in our laboratory.
The machine will be completely revamped before dispatch.
The unit is mainly consisting of :
Feed Hopper
contents approx. 500 liter,
without stirring device, without level control
Screw Feeder
four feed screws in stainless steel housing,
with geared motor approx. 7,5 kW,
speed adjustable approx. 12 - 90 rpm
(without frequency inverter!)
Roller Compactor
roller diameter : 480 mm
roller width : 520 mm
surface: upper roller smooth, lower roller grooved
max. pressure 150 t = approx. 2,88 t/ cm roller length
drive by means of three-phase motor of
max. 75 kW,
with V- belt drive and distribution gear box.
roller speed : adjustable 14 or 18 rpm
Hydraulic Unit
for pressure generation via motor pump (1,0 kW),
with magnetic valve for pressure release,
adjusted to 100 bar.
Flake Crusher
working length approx. 550 mm, with external bearings,
motor rating approx. 2,5 kW, speed 287 rpm
Base Frame
the above mentioned units are installed in a mutual steel frame, put on support beams
Granulator Unit
two Rotor Fine Granulators type RFG 350 VD,
rotor diameter 350 mm, working length 660 mm,
with adjustable geared motor (hand wheel) of 3 kW
and elastic coupling, rotor speed: 15 - 90 rpm

depending on the raw material being processed and on the screen sizes installed in the granulators, the throughput of the compactor ranges between 2 and 4 tons/ hour.
Capacity- confirming trials are recommended.
